SECTION ONE -- Ellora Families

SARUBAI'S FAMILY -- Sarubai is a single mom of four wonderful children, two boys and two girls.
I first met this dear family in November of 2002, when visiting the ancient caves at Ellora, 4 months after their abusive, alcoholic father died.
In those days, they were sleeping on the floor of their non-operating shell of a restaurant;
and mom earned less than $25/month in gardening work for the Government.
The Hermitage has been supporting the family ever since.
The restaurant was remodeled and reopened in December of 2003; and now, during May & June of 2005 we are building their own house
on land jointly purchased for them during December '04 by the Hermitage and Sarubai's brother Santosh.

DINESH'S FAMILY -- Dinesh and his Brother Satish are my "saviors".
Speaking good english, these two brothers help me with nearly all things I wish to do for Sarubai and her children.
Satish is also doing english language tutoring to Sarubai's children plus Dinesh's two small boys.
We are also helping this family in certain ways.
Together, we are all a wonderful Ellora Family!!
