***  Facilities for sadhana ... satsang, meditation, and yoga for local villagers as well as visitors from elsewhere;
*** "Spiritual Lodging"  for visitors and friends who wish to visit Ellora and it's famous caves;
*** An Indian home base for Ananda, who now prefers to live in India, more-so than in USA;
*** A place for Ananda to host his friends .. Sadhus and those who are not .. who wish to visit him at Ellora; and,
*** A future place for Sita and Sagar Tambe to serve local villagers in whatever ways they choose to develop themselves in.

The Hermitage is currently under construction, with a goal of fall 2011 for completion of facilities sufficient to receive overnight guests.

AdvaitaAnandaSamadhiAshram2009.jpg
The Advaita Ananda Samadhi Ashram is the residence quarters
and family ashram for the Tambe family,
whom we have supported since November, 2002.

We built this family ashram home for them in 2005-6;
and of course our ongoing support of this precious family
 is a multi-fold blessing ..

a blessing to them, as well as to ourselves and friends who visit.

As a "family" ashram this is a nice enhancement
to their spiritual development in life ...
and
a place where visitors can have a sweet
 "single mom" Indian family experience,

participate in the growth and development of the children,
and also have a place in India called "home".

Each and every foreign country visitor is an incredibly wonderful influence,
especially at this age of the children.

Please feel free, inspired and welcome to visit us.
We are here to serve your visit to India ... and joyfully welcome you to our home.

This Link will take you to a separate page for the  Tambe family story.

India2010/Sita16thBdayFamily8-09.jpg
This was Sita's 16th Birthday party, Aug. 30, 2009 ..
August 1st, 2009 her sister Sunita gave birth to her first baby .. Chandrani (means "moon queen").

As well as being a peaceful home-base for myself here in India
, the Ashram and Hermitage are also part of my vision
 for the
future of Sarubai's two middle children .. Sita, and her younger brother Sagar.
Sagar speaks strongly about sadhu (Hindu Monk) life, not married life;
and Sita is
a precious jewel, hopefully to be a yogini in service to village girls and women.

Thus, through this vehicle, they will find their own means of

"returning the gift" of such all inclusive family support the Samadhi Hermitage has provided since 2002.

Youngest fellow is Ravi, now in 4th grade (2010-11) at a local private English speaking school.
His future may be a school teacher, and also offering free tutoring to poor village children,
as his village-service gift later in life.

Want to Help?

Please, send your tax-deductible contribution payable to:

Samadhi Hermitage
P. O. Box 4164
Santa Fe, NM 87502

We do need help for our services in India.

No amount is too small or too large ... a little bit goes a long way and all will be appreciated!!

EXAMPLES:
$20/month covers private english medium school for one child at Elementary level.
$50/month covers basic food necessities for Sarubai and her 3 kids;
$100/month covers fairly well the complete monthly expenses for this family of four.

Please consider:

With Internet Banking, you can set a particular amount per month
to be deposited in the Hermitage account for our social work in India.
$10-20 per month is not a hardship for most people, yet it can do wonders for us in India.
Please consider this .. and send us an inquiry to email address below.

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization since 1995, so your contribution is tax-deductible.

Thank you so much ...
May your life be rich with blissings and blessings.
